We had the pleasure of photographing Máire and Andrew's beautiful wedding in the Anglers Rest, Dublin. Arriving by limo and vintage car Máire and Andrew had a stunning ceremony in St Mochta's Church in Porterstown, Dublin. We then made our way to the Phoenix Park with the bridal party for some summery group photos and natural wedding shots of Máire and Andrew together. The reception venue in Anglers Rest was decorated to perfection with a lot of Máires DIY designs. Keep an eye out for Máire's amazing gemtastic DIY shoes!
Here are some of Máire & Andrew's thoughts on their day:
What was your favourite part in the lead up to your day? We had a prosecco tasting to choose one for our reception drinks. We did a blind taste test with our family to rate on look, pop, fizz and taste. After the 3rd glass none of us were fit to judge the competition!
What was the favourite part of your day? Being surrounded by our amazing family and friends and the outpouring of love that we both felt. And the vows of course!
What was Andrews favourite part? Our band, The Rockets, learned some songs especially for the wedding so it was great to dance to those with my new wife, friends and family.
What advice would you have for any future brides about preparing for and enjoying their day? We had 4 months between our engagement and wedding. Lots of friends had mentioned that they wished they had had a shorter engagement so that spurred us on with the planning. We took things as they came and didn't get stressed out about the small details. The most important things are the vows and being surrounded by loved ones, nothing else really matters! Good luck to all the brides who are planning. I wish I could do it all again!
