The Millhouse, Slane

The setting for Rebecca & Stephen’s gorgeous day was the Millhouse in Slane an elegant Georgian manor surrounded by historic textile buildings.

Rebecca began her morning with her friends and family in the Millhouse bridal preparation suite. A multi-talented genius when it comes to DIY, Rebecca's wedding strongly reflected her wide range of skills. We know Rebecca for a number years in her role as a seriously talented make-up artist and she did her own make-up on the day. She also hand-crafted a large number of the head-pieces and hats worn by her guests. To see more of Rebecca's millinery have a look at her page.

Stephen and his groomsmen arrived to the venue nice and early to put the final touches to the ceremony and dining rooms. The dining room décor was all crafted by the talented bride and looked absolutely amazing.

The couple had a beautiful intimate ceremony on the Millhouse grounds surrounded by family and friends. The sun was breaking through the clouds as the ceremony came to an end and everybody strolled across to the manor house for a summery cocktail reception.

We went for a leisurely walk with the bride and groom around the grounds for some natural couple photographs. The evening progressed with hilarious speeches and some serious dancing.
