We are delighted to share Jennifer & Ronan's Sunny September day with you here. :) The happy couple had a gorgeous church wedding in Kilquade followed by a beautiful sunny reception in Druid's Glen Hotel & Spa.
"I loved my dress and as it was custom made (Kathy de Stafford), Kathy allowed me to add my own touches like the pink bow at the back and the pink trim and beading around the waist."
"My engagement ring was from Appleby's, we choose the ring together, we had such fun sneaking into town and looking at rings, as we did it before the engagement, we didn't want anyone to know what we were up to."
"Gill is a friend of mine and she did my hair along with another friend of hers also Gill. It was great having Gill in the house in the morning to help get us all ready. She was a star."
"I loved the makeup that Alyson did on me and the girls and my Mom, it was so natural."
Ronan got his suit from "Tango's Suit Hire, Mark in there was so helpful, they had been recommended by friends. Their suits are fantastic quality."
When we met... "We flirted in a pub about our affiliation to different preppy rugby schools. One Northside, one Southside."
"The proposal was very romantic, it was done on a surprise trip to Paris."
"We had a Roman Catholic ceremony. We felt it was right for us."
"Our colour theme was blush Pink and Navy."
"Our favourite part of the day? For Her: Walking down the aisle. For Him: Seeing her"
"We had been together 10 years, so everybody was really excited for us. There were smiles on everyone's face in all of the photos."
"The staff at Druids Glen were incredible, very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful in the heart of the Wicklow mountains. It was important that all of our friends and family could stay over as there are plenty of rooms. The food was really nice."
"The most important thing for us was that everyone had a fun, laid back and enjoyable day. That our venue allowed us have a bit of craic agus ceol and that we could have our ceremony in an intimate venue."
"For our honeymoon we went to the East coast of Australia and Dubai on the way home. We had a fabulous time in Australia, meeting up with some really close friends who couldn't make the trip over for the wedding. And then had some luxury couple time in Dubai."
"My advice to other brides would be enjoy it. Enjoy the planning, the lunches with bridesmaids, the dress fittings, make up trials, it is all so amazing. And enjoy every minute of the day, It goes so fast, after the speeches the day/night just disappears. Once you both are having a great time everyone else will enjoy it too."
