As a wedding photographer from Waterford originally, it is always a great pleasure for Rachel in particular to shoot a Waterford wedding at home in the Deise. Waterford Castle never fails to impress with their beautifully lit rooms and roaring fires. Whilst it can cater for large weddings this private island is also an ideal venue for an intimate wedding like Jennifer and Stephen's.
The couple both got ready in the castle alongside their family and friends. As Weddings by KARA is made up of two professional wedding photographers it allows us to cover both the bride and groom preparations without missing a beat. The ceremony took place in the 16th century castle lobby. Once Jennifer was ready she made her way down the winding staircase with her father and stunning daughter and flower girl where Stephen was waiting at the top of the aisle. After their ceremony the couple made their way outside with their families for some group photos and then we took some elegant and relaxed couple photos.
After the meal and the speeches we dashed outside with Jennifer and Stephen to make the most of the fiery red sunset before they made their way inside for their first dance.
