As the sun rose over Carton House on a balmy August day the preparations for Tania & Robert's wedding were well under way. The sound of hair dryers and laughter echoed throughout the hallways as the trucks unloaded the garden marquee in preparation for a truly beautiful ceremony.
Robert and his groomsmen were gathering at the opposite end of the house getting ready for the Tish. This is where the men of the wedding come together to pray and sing hymns in anticipation of the ceremony and the bedeken also know as the unveiling of the bride. This is where the groom will see his bride for the first time.
Our beautiful bride Tania was ready and awaiting Robert with her bridesmaids in another room. Robert's father and groomsmen brought him through the house in song and dance to see Tania for the first time. As he entered the room and pulled the veil back from Tania's face it was a truly beautiful and emotional moment.
Robert then made his way across the grounds of Carton House with his parents Andrea & Jonathan to the outdoor ceremony location where the guests were waiting. He stood under the incredible chuppah until the music began and Tania made her way up the aisle with her parents Edmund and Anne.
The ceremony continued one beautiful tradition after another until finally the glass was smashed under Robert's foot and the celebrations began.
We took a little bit of time to take some nice family photos and then travelled with the lovely couple by golf cart to take some natural couple photographs by the lake house in Carton House.
The evening continued with wonderful speeches and incredible dancing.
We would like to thank Tania and Robert for choosing us to photograph their wedding day and to Carton House for their wonderful hospitality. x
